This recipe has been a huge hit in our house. It's easy to make and even easier to eat! This recipe was inspired by Jessie Reimers Jaffa Slice recipe from here... You can substitute the chocolate protein powder for cocoa or cacao powder if you prefer.
WHAT YOU NEED
1 cup of flaked coconut (or desiccated if you prefer)
10 Medjool dates with the seed removed.
1/4 cup of almond or nut butter
2 tablespoons of chocolate protein powder (or use cocoa or cacao powder)
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
4-5 drops of Wild Orange doTERRA essential oils
a pinch of Himalayan salt
Blitz in a high powered blender until mixture is well combined and rolls nicely into balls. Roll and form spoonfuls of mixture into ball shapes and dust lightly with some extra chocolate protein powder (or cocoa or cacao powder) and place in fridge to set.
